Our newest exercise, The Collaboration Journey, is the first of a series of Square
Wheels® Games that readily links to our popular Square Wheels®
illustrations. The Collaboration Journey sets up individuals on a journey forward
with each managing a single wagon. Players need to make decisions about movement
and timing during a series of rounds.

- Collaboration
- Communications
- Planning
It demonstrates how the choices players make, such as whether to work together or
not, determine outcome. Play can be for up to 6 people per table with as many
tables in play as you desire. Overall measured results can be directly compared
between tables to get a sense of how each collaborated to optimize performance.
This team building game takes about 60-90 minutes
to explain, play and debrief.
There are two versions available:
The Collaboration Journey I - Simple Version ($149)
The Simple Collaboration Journey works nicely to focus on issues surrounding
team performance, collaboration and planning. It includes an element of chance
(not present in the Complex Version) and this simplifies play.
The Collaboration Journey II - Complex Version ($149)
This Complex Version differs from the Simple Version in that it adds the
additional movement of "wagon pushers" to each round of play, adding a level of
complexity to the understanding of the task as well as to actual player
interactions. The metaphor of diversity can be debriefed, if that is part of
your desired session outcomes. This is not a game on diversity but on strategic
planning and collaboration.
Collaboration Journey Tabletop Set (for 3 to 6 players)
can be purchased
separately for $30 a set for use with either the Simple Version or the Complex
version. It includes all the materials needed for play: instructions, game
pieces and a 17"x30" game board. All materials are laminated and reusable. One
set is for a table of 3 to 6 players. This is an optional purchase.

These two exercises are packaged on one CD. Seven Seas Quest is a seafaring
adventure team building game involving 18 months (real time of 2 minutes per month)
of sailing to
the Islands in the quest to save the world. Its sister game, Buccaneer, is the same
design but its theme involves stealing the gold back from the Pirates. In either
exercise, each ship's crew has certain assigned responsibilities and the crew must
make a series of decisions about what information to gather, what path to take, how
to optimize results and how best to sail back home.
Both are designed to be delivered and debriefed in 3.5 hours and can be used with
groups from 15 to 500+ people.
One price with both versions on the cd is $895.

Military Might! involves teamwork, collaboration and planning. The goal is to get
organized, gather information, select from a series of missions and then implement
an action plan. Collaboration between teams improves overall results and debriefing
can be focused on a variety of issues and subjects.
Military Might! sells for an introductory price of $995.
