About Performance
Management Company
Who is PMC?
Performance Management Company is proud to be in existence since 1984 and while initially established by Dr. Scott Simmerman as a consulting company focusing on service quality improvement, by 1992, the focus shifted to team building and leadership development through the creation and selling of unique and useful products to better involve and engage people in their workplace. PMC is recognized, worldwide, for its two flagship products, The Search for The Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine team building game and the Square Wheels Approach to engagement, collaboration, innovation and change.
Why it exists?
Vision. Mission. Values. Motto.
The role of the Expedition Leader is to help teams be successful.
The Round Wheels are already in the Square Wheels Wagon.
Don’t Just DO Something, Stand There!
Nobody ever washes a rental car.
Why Choose our Products?
Performance Management Company has been selling its products since 1993 to a global mix of organizations as well as hundreds of small businesses, schools/universities, health organizations and independent consultants who have found the products to be a great return on investment as they receive high marks for participant satisfaction, engagement, uniqueness, flexibility, ease of use and a successful outcome.
The Search for The Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine-Onsite and our Square Wheels Toolkits are each a one-time purchase with limitless use and no further fees paid to us. The Search for The Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine-Online is set up in a different way that uses per-participant fees but there is no limit as to how often you would have access to this virtual game.
Our commitment is to continue to create tools that will be useful, impactful, engaging and reasonably priced in the global marketplace. Collaboration is our driving force and we are open to any suggestions, criticisms, innovations, ideas or possibilities that may exist. We stand behind our products with a money-back guarantee and the satisfaction of thousands of appreciative users and participants who have experienced our products.
Our Process
The Search for The Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine-Onsite team building game has support materials that are not downloadable and, therefore, will be shipped to you but we will send you the leader’s files electronically so that you can quickly become familiar with the play of the exercise even before receiving the supporting materials.
If you need your purchase by a certain timeline, we will do our best to make that happen.
The Search for The Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine-Onsite team building game requires the purchase of tokens for each participant and then can be used at your discretion.

Chris Fisher
Managing Partner, PMC LLC
Joining PMC over a decade ago has expanded my life and focus. I originally joined PMC to work in the technical area of marketing while continuing to build my skills and certifications for website design, programming, Google AdWords, social media and LinkedIn Ads. These endeavors led to an increased understanding of PMC’s commitment to creating tools focused on employee engagement, workplace/organizational issues, strengthening teams and collaboration, and creating tools to support leaders. Keeping our products relevant, fun, unique, easy-to-use and able to produce positive impacts for the facilitator and the participants/organization means a continued dedication to continual learning on our part. It’s a feel-good experience!
